Antistatic is a crisp, uncompromising indie platform fighter, built from the ground up in a custom engine. While simple for beginners, bluehexagon's design philosophy emphasizes depth and variety of play at all levels. Engage in local or online multiplayer matches as teams or as rivals.

Inside a crumbling digital world, atomic combatants carry out their programming in an endless series of battles over the remaining shielded landmarks.

Online play — join one other player in online matches; online is still early in development, with much more in the works
Familiar mechanics — shields, directional influence, lag-canceling, grabs, wavedashing, and more
Full GameCube controller support — play with the iconic platform fighter controller using the official adapter
6 characters — all with different play styles, and more coming over Early Access
10 stage layouts — some staples, and some new

I got this as part of the Palestine Aid Bundle, but when I click download I'm  sent here instead of the download page.

I dunno, that process worked for me just now. Maybe itch was having a hiccup when you tried it.

It's still doing it, I'm afraid. :( Happening with  a few other games so far too. I'll try looking into it more after I get everything I can downloaded. I'm still pretty new to this site, I realize now I probably should have gone to the forums to see if a site admin can help me or something. Sorry about that. ^^; But thank you for responding!

No problem! You could try using the itch.io client to install stuff if you’re able to get games from the bundle added to your library: https://itch.io/app

If you are using the launcher, it might just take a bit for it the download button to work. If not, then I have no clue

I've just been manually downloading all my new games from the e-mail list I was sent. Turns out this is happening with a few other games so far too, so I'll probably head to the forums later to see if perhaps a site admin can help with my issue.

Huh, odd. I think my boyfriend was having a similar issue with a couple. Odd that, oh well, at least we all know it's not an issue with the game in particular and instead on Itch's end

Neat stuff! Had fun with it on local!

When I want to host a netplay lobby I'm getting an error, that the certificate has expired. Any solutions for this?

(+1)

Sorry about that, that’s a server-side thing. I was hoping I’d fixed it since it hadn’t happened in a while, but apparently not. Care to try again?

Also, netplay is… inconsistent. Sometimes it works really well, other times it has random issues or doesn’t even connect. I’m in the middle of restructuring all of the connection logic for the next patch in an attempt to amend that, but I got busy with the day job so it’s delayed more than I’d like.

That logo resembles a Van Der Graaf Generator album cover.

Based on the same thing. It’s a symbol for earth/ground in electronics, but modified to look like an upside-down tri-platform layout.

Well I just learned a thing. Thank you.

And it just so happens to look a lot like fox's down-B.
This game looks cool, haven't tried it yet, but I wasn't expecting a smash style game in the BLM bundle and I'm pleasantly surprised and I'll give it a try when I can rope someone else into playing with me.

Same problem here as Naph, would love to play this

Thanks for checking out the game! Copying the comment I left Naph:

There’s a readme.md file with a bit more information (just open in a text editor), but you’ll need to run Antistatic.bat instead of Antistatic.exe. You can also start it from the itch.io client.

Antistatic.exe is just node.exe but renamed for clarity. It needs some information that’s given when you run Antistatic.bat to run properly.

EDIT: I just pushed a build that includes prereqs for the itch.io client, which should smooth this out a lot.

Hi! I'm interested in trying this out, but trying to open up the exe just meets me with a cmd prompt. I tried to run it manually, but I'm not very familiar with anything like that. Can I get some help?

I tried both opening it after installing OpenAL like in the readme & running it on the itch.io client, but they both close after a second and nothing starts up. Am I messing something up?

What OS/hardware are you running? I haven’t heard of this issue in the past year or so. It does require Windows 10, and it isn’t tested especially well with integrated graphics since I don’t have access to any at the moment.

I can give you some better troubleshooting if you want to hop on the Discord.
